The utilitarian believes in advancing happiness and to gain the sense of pleasure over pain. Bentham advocates for utilitarianism and he states that “utility” enlarges the feeling of happiness. The only intrinsic value in utilitarianism is to reduce the pain and sorrow feeling by boosting happiness and pleasure.
